WELL, THIS IS IT

It's a weird feeling, releasing this album. I've been writing songs for it for about ten years. I've been working towards releasing it for five years. And I spent the last three years on and off in the studio, to make the songs as best as they can be. We've reached the end of the line. I'm completely broke. I haven't bought new clothes for a year now, cancelled my vacation and worked my ass off to pay for it. But it was worth every penny and moment.

On the release party, I spoke about how I'm 'left alone' with the new songs, seeing as the old ones are now out in the world. But they haven't really left, though. I get to play them again and again, for people who will know the songs and lyrics by heart (I hope). But they will become 'theirs' (or actually: yours), in a way. They will soundtrack your life. The album may score your summer at the lake, or remind you of your ex-girlfriend ten years down the line. Which is exactly what I want it to be. What are songs if not the score of good and bad times?

It's not completely the end of the line for Tuesday, though. Later this year, we will release the LP. There'll be four extra photos (though they're not part of the puzzle) and amazing artwork. Plus, holding the LP in your hands, that's a magical feeling. The songs, however, will be the same.

Enjoy.
