END OF YEAR LIST

We're a sucker for end-of-year-lists. We could do about a hundred of them, but we opted to only do one: our favorite album of the year. And yes, our own one was off-limits.

Marvin: Foo Fighters - Wasting Light
Why? "Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins are my heroes. And this album just gives me energy."

Why? "Good songs, good production, good vocals, et cetera."

Coen: Viva Brother - Famous First Words
Why? "An excellent debut album: insanely catchy songs and a great attitude for a debut."

Sander: Amos Lee - Mission Bell
Why? "With beautiful songs, it's a roots-album you can play 25 times without getting sick of it."
